Sex: male
Age: 30-40 years

Orientation of Burial: Orientation: ENE
Description: A flexed burial on the right side was unearthed. The head was oriented to the east. Both hands rested in front of the face. The lower legs were missing due to disturbance. A pendant made from mother-of-pearl was found at the back of the skeleton. A single pierced pearl was discovered under the chin. The skeleton is in generally good condition but lacks the right lower leg, the left leg, and the feet. The shoulders, spine, pelvis, and sacrum are fragmentary. The skull is hyper-dolichocran with visible granular foveae on the endocranial surface. The external occipital protuberance is markedly developed. Both humeri show a pronounced deltoid tuberosity. The right humerus reveals evidence of a healed comminuted fracture. The endocranial surface of the right parietal bone shows close to the lambda an impression of 5 mm, the ectocranial surface reveals a corresponding swelling of 1 mm. The circular lesion measures 10 mm in diameter, the surface is smooth and no signs of a malign process are observable. As differential diagnosis an aneurysm of the middle meningeal or cerebral artery as well as a parasagittal menigioma have to be considered. Body Height Estimation: 171,00 (Trotter & Gleser 1952)
