An algorithm to build a multi-genome reference and its application

Abstract

In this dissertation a method is proposed that allows a comparison against several high-quality reference genomes simultaneously. To this end, an algorithm has been developed that creates a graph as a multi-genome reference to remove the reference bias and to simplify downstream analysis.
