Abstract:

The present report on the drug situation in Germany has been prepared on behalf of the European Monitoring Centre for Drugs and Drug Addiction (EMCDDA), which is an agency of the European Union. The report is the result of the work performed by the German Monitoring Centre for Drugs and Drug Addiction (Deutsche Beobachtungsstelle für Drogen und Drogensucht, DBDD), in which the Institute for Therapy Research (Institut für Therapieforschung, IFT), the Federal Centre for Health Education (Bundeszentrale für gesundheitliche Aufklärung, BZgA) and the German Centre for Addiction Issues (Deutsche Hauptstelle für Suchtfragen, DHS) cooperate and join forces. The DBDD is funded by the Federal Ministry for Health and Social Affairs and the EMCDDA.
