Abstract:

The REITOX report 2000 includes the most important information on the state and developments of drug problems in Germany for the reporting year. It closely follows the structure and guidelines published by the European Monitoring Centre for Drugs and Drug Addiction (EMCDDA) in Lisbon. Through the processing and description of the national data the basis is prepared for the EMCDDA to make comparative use of this information. Following the EMCDDA new information strategy the data will flow into a trend report on the situation of the drug phenomenon in Europe.
