dc.description.abstract It has been claimed that there are three kinds of Kaplanian monsters selected by dif- ferent attitude verbs in Slave (Anand and Nevins 2004, Anand 2006) as well as in Uyghur (Sudo 2010). This paper shows, on the basis of the collected data, that Dhaasanac has a fourth kind of monster that shifts person and temporal parameters optionally, but does not shift the locative parameter. en
