Inhaltszusammenfassung:

Die Dissertation untersucht Korrelationen zwischen sprachexternen soziohistorischen Konstellationen in Kolonialisierungssituationen sowie postkolonialen Gesellschaften und dem Wandel der sprachinternen Variation sowie morphosyntaktischen Sprachwandelphänomenen in außereuropäischen Varietäten des Spanischen, Französischen und Portugiesischen. Im Fokus stehen dabei ausgewählte Grammatikalisierungsprozesse, Prozesse des Wandels in der Architektur von Varietäten sowie der Markierung von Varianten.
