Stentapplikation in die Arteria Poplitea als bail-out Prozedur. Indikation, technischer Erfolg und follow-up bei N=31 Patienten

Abstract

In dieser Studie wurden 31 Patienten untersucht, bei denen zu einem früheren Zeitpunkt nach erfolgloser Angioplastie insgesamt 37 Stents als bail-out Maßnahme in die Arteria poplitea eingesetzt worden waren. Das Ziel der vorliegenden Studie war es, herauszufinden, wie hoch der technische Erfolg und die Langzeitergebnisse bei Stenting der Arteria poplitea als bail-out Maßnahme nach erfolgloser Angioplastie sind.

We analyzed the clinical and imaging data of 31 patients with a total number of 37 stents in the Popliteal Artery. The stent implantation was performed as a bail-out procedure after insufficient angioplasty. This study indicates the initial technical success and the long-term outcome after bail-out stenting of the popliteal artery.
