Primäre Strahlentherapie des Prostatakarzinoms: Therapieergebnisse nach perkutaner konformaler Bestrahlung mit 72 Gy

Abstract

In der vorliegenden Studie wurde ein Kollektiv von 58 Patienten, das in der Strahlenklinik der St. Vincentius Kliniken Karlsruhe von 2003 bis 2004 aufgrund eines Prostatakarzinoms primär konformal bestrahlt wurde, retrospekiv untersucht. Es wurde untersucht, welche Auswirkung die Bestrahlungsgesamtdosis von 72 Gy auf die lokale Toxizität, die Überlebensrate und die Tumorrezidivhäufigkeit hat und ob bestimmte Risikofaktoren Einfluss darauf nahmen. Gleichzeitig sollten anhand der Ergebnisse die Qualität und der Erfolg der Behandlung im Bereich der perkutanen Radiatio des Prostatakarzinoms im Vergleich mit Literaturdaten untersucht werden.

In the present study, a cohort of 58 patients, that was primarily irradiated conformally because of prostate cancer in the St. Vincentius Hospitals Karlsruhe from 2003 to 2004, had been retrospective examined. It was investigated the effect of the irradiation total dose of 72 Gy to the local toxicity, the survival rate and the frequency of tumor recurrence and if certain risk factors were influencing them. Based on the results, the quality and success of treatment in the field of percutaneous radiotherapy of prostate cancer should be examined in comparison with literature data simultaneously.
