Inhaltszusammenfassung:

Untersucht wird eine mögliche Assoziation zwischen den Polymorphismen des IL-6 Rezeptor Gens (+24013A/G:Ala31Ala; +48892 A/C:Asp358Ala), des IL-8 Rezeptor Gens (+2607B/C:Ser/Thr IL-8RA) sowie des TNF-alpha 238 (G/A) Polymorphismus bei M. Behcet Patienten deutscher und türkischer Nationalität. Sowohl aus Blutproben von 93 deutschen und 28 türkischen Patienten als auch aus Proben von 51 deutschen und 20 türkischen Kontrollen wurde DNA extrahiert. Die Polymorphismen wurden mit dem PCR LightCycler System analysiert. Weder TNF-alpha 238, +2607 IL-8RA, +48892 IL-6R noch +24013 IL-6R- Polymorphismus zeigten eine signifikante Assoziation zwischen Nationalität oder Krankheit. Statistisch war kein Unterschied zwischen den Patienten und den Kontrollen nachweisbar. (TNF-alpha 238: p= 0.8649/ +2607 IL-8RA: p= 0.2278/ +48892 IL-6R: p= 0.0871/ +24013 IL-6R: p= 0.7989) or German/Turks (TNF-alpha 238: p= 0.1280/ +2607 IL-8RA: p= 0.6765/ +48892 IL-6R: p= 0.3164/ +24013 IL-6R: p= 0.6497). Die hier untersuchten Polymorphismen zeigten in keinem Fall eine statisch relevante Assoziation zu M. Behçet

Abstract:

To assess the association of polymorphisms of the IL-6 receptor gene (+24013A/G:Ala31Ala; +48892 A/C:Asp358Ala), the IL-8 receptor gene (+2607B/C:Ser/Thr IL-8RA) and of the TNF-alpha 238 (G/A) single nucleotide polymorphism (SNP) with Behçets disease in patients of German and Turkish origin. DNA was extracted from 93 patient blood samples from Germany and 28 from Turkey, as well as from 51 German and 20 Turkish healthy controls. The polymorphisms were analysed by PCR with the LightCycler system. Neither TNF-alpha 238, +2607 IL-8RA, +48892 IL-6R nor +24013 IL-6R- polymorphism revealed a significant association between nationaltity or disease; statistically there was no difference between patients/ controls (TNF-alpha 238: p= 0.8649/ +2607 IL-8RA: p= 0.2278/ +48892 IL-6R: p= 0.0871/ +24013 IL-6R: p= 0.7989) or German/Turks (TNF-alpha 238: p= 0.1280/ +2607 IL-8RA: p= 0.6765/ +48892 IL-6R: p= 0.3164/ +24013 IL-6R: p= 0.6497). The single nucleotide polymorphisms of the IL-6 and IL-8 receptor genes and the TNF-alpha gene analysed here do not appear to be associated with Behçets Disease.
