Abstract

Die Vorgänge der Aussonderung und des Abschreibens werden für wissenschaftliche Bibliotheken in Stichwortform im strukturierten Ablauf beschrieben. Aussonderung ist ein Mittel der Bestandspflege, welches das Bestandsprofil schärft und Mehrwert für die Benutzer schafft. Der Entscheidungsprozess und Vorgang muss geplant werden, damit der Prozess richtig durchgeführt wird und das Ergebnis effektiv und akzeptiert ist. Abschreiben ist der technische Vorgang der Bibliotheksverwaltung, wie die ausgesonderten Bestände fachgerecht behandelt und entsorgt werden.

The processes of the withdrawal and the decrease of stocks are described for scientific libraries in structured form and headwords. Withdrawal is a mean of the stock management which sharpen the profile of stock and create increase in value for the users. The decision process and handling must be planned, so that the process is properly carried out and the result is effective and accepted by users and management. Decrease of stocks is the administrative process of the library management how the charged off books and journals are handled expertly.
