Kritik der Jugendstrafvollzugsreform : Argumente wider die ASJ-Thesen

Abstract

The article is related to the ongoing legislation on juvenile prisons. The treatment model is being discussed and criticized for its internal contradictions and for some unintendet (or indented) consequences like: Prolongation of the prison terms, education to dishonesty, le- gitimation of the old prison System. Alternatives to prison very often turn out to be additive measures to prison, thus enlarging the whole System of social control. Instead of advancing alternatives the article concludes with suggestions aimed at the removal of penal lau from the control of juveniles.
