"Wir sind gegen alles aufgeschlossen" : über die Schwierigkeiten, Polizist zu werden

Abstract

Der Aufsatz handelt von der Polizeiausbildung in Österreich. Der Autor hatte Gelegenheit, innerhalb der Polizei Ausbildungsstand und Ausbildungswünsche der Polizisten zu studieren. Im Ergebnis zeigt sich, daß die derzeitige Ausbildung dem polizeilichen Alltagshandeln nicht mehr entspricht. Dies wird auch aus den geäußerten Ausbildungswünschen deutlich. Dabei stehen moderne didaktische Methoden und die Verbesserung „sozial-kommunikativer Kompetenzen" im Vordergrund.

The essay deals with the police education in Austria. The author got the opportunity to study the level of training and the requests of the policeman inside the organisation. The contradiction between the education and the routine behaviour of the police is a main result of the essay.
