This dissertation is devoted to the study of quasismooth, rational, projective surfaces with K*-action. Inside this class we exhibit and explore two infinite series. Firstly, the surfaces of Picard number one and integral degree. Secondly, the full intrinsic quadric surfaces, that is, those whose Cox ring is defined by a single quadratic equation. |
