Sex: male

Age: 35-45 years

Burial Type: primary flexed right

Orientation of Burial: Orientation: ESE-WNW

Description: BX/BY/HS. Primary burial of 3 individuals. In this multiple burial, three bodies were laid in a flexed position on the right side. A man (BY) was placed between two women (BX, HS) his left hand was laid on the hip of the woman (HS) in front of him; his right hand was placed on his own hip. The hands of HS were found in front of her face; both hands of BX rested on the hip. With all three skeletons snail shells were found, which had presumably been part of a loin-cloth or a belt. The skull of BY is fragmentary. The bones of the right arm are poorly preserved, whereas the bones of the left arm are in a good state of preservation. The lower limbs are missing. The skull shows indisputable signs of an unhealed sharp-edged fracture at the left temple. However, the full extent of the lesion is not observable due to the fragmentary preservation of the skull. An anterior fragment of the right parietal bone reveals also possible evidence of a second unhealed (sharp-edged) pond fracture. Body height estimation: 173 cm (Trotter & Gleser 1952)
