Individual: IL

Sex: female

Age: 18–20 years (spheno-occipital synchondrosis fused; distal epiphysis of radius in stage of fusion).

Burial Type: primary flexed right

Orientation of Burial: E-W

Description: A skull and a right forearm were excavated. The skull was lying on the right temporal bone facing north. The remains were almost certainly part of a primary burial oriented east-west. A fragmentary cranium and right mandible, the proximal part of the right ulna, and the distal part of the right radius are preserved. The maxillary bone reveals canine fossae. A small oval impression (17 x10mm), which is probably due to a healed puncture caused by a slingshot, is detectable on the forehead just above the right frontal eminence. Another fracture located on the posterior part of the left parietal bone was indisputably received postmortem.
