Description: The secondary burial was partly disturbed. The skull was situated on the base facing WSW. Very few fragments of the infra-cranial skeleton were present. A moderately well preserved cranium, the left part of the mandible, left shoulder, left humerus, and fragments from the hip are preserved. The shape of the skull is sphaeroid with a broad forehead and a prominent external occipital protuberance. The alveolar region shows canine fossae. Severe thickening of all vault bones (near the bregma the frontal bone measures 15 mm) is noticeable. As a possible differential diagnosis Paget’s disease has to be considered.
