Orientation of Burial:

Description: The individual was laid on the right side with the skull pointing to the east and the face turned to the north. The left arm rested on the chest. The lower part of the articulated burial was missing. The right side of the cranium is moderately well preserved; the left and formerly upper side is disturbed. From the post-cranium the cervical spin, ribs, shoulders, clavicles, the right upper arm, and the left arm are present. The external surface of the right parietal bone, ribs, shoulders, left radius and ulna, and the proximal ends of the clavicles display a black discoloration caused by burning at a low temperature (300–400 degrees centigrade). The skull is small sized and the occipital bone displays a nuchal torus. The sagittal suture reveals a perforation of 10mm in diameter caused by arachnoid granulations.
