Abstract

edition) | Gregory VII orders the bishops Gerard of
Cambrai, Radbod of Noyon and Rorico of
Amiens to make Count Robert I (Friso) of Flanders to do penance
because he had supported the wrong Bishop Lambert of Thérouanne against three papal
orders. If he refuses, they should exclude him from communion. |
