In dieser Arbeit wurde untersucht, ob sich miniaturisierte elektrostatische Elektronenlinsen auf der Basis von konventionellen elektronenmikroskopischen Blenden eignen, um eine hochauflösende Elektronensonde zu erzeugen. Das elektronenoptische System wird gebildet aus einem Schottky-Emitter mit integrierter Extraktionsanode und einer Drei-Elektroden-Linse aus Platin-Blenden. Die Linse wurde hinsichtlich der Auflösung optimiert. Simulationen ergaben einen Sondendurchmesser von ca. 5 nm bei einer Strahlenergie von 1 keV und einem Arbeitsabstand von 1 mm. Sowohl Details zur Messung des Sondendurchmessers als auch spezifische Probleme, die während der Messung auftraten, werden präsentiert. Experimentell wurde ein Wert von 30 nm erreicht.
This thesis comprises the investigation of miniaturized electrostatic electron lenses based on conventional electron microscopical diaphragms to be suitable for the generation of a high-resolution electron probe. The electron optical column consists of a Schottky emitter with an integrated extraction anode and a miniaturized three electrode lens built of platinum apertures. The lens has been optimized with respect to resolution. Simulations indicate a probe diameter of about 5 nm at a beam energy of 1 keV and a working distance of 1 mm. Details on the measurement of the probe diameter and the hereby encountered problems are discussed. A value of 30 nm for the probe diameter has been achieved experimentally.
